What Happened to Pretty Mutation Cosplay?
It was simply changed to IchiNichi Girls. We discovered that apparently the "mutation" part scared people away. Go figure. Guess there aren't enough Pretty Samy fans out there. It was also time for a change. What PMC started as has changed and we needed something to go with that change. Although we are still a group we are not stopping anyone from joining another for other reasons or mind if they don't want to do a group costume with us. It's also why we have our own sites - to display what we like and our own personalities.

When Did You Start Costuming?
We became a cosplay group in December 2000 with a very small number of members. Three to be exact. It basically started with Halloween costumes. What else? And sometimes the costumes are just because. Why not have a little fun? That's what it's all about, right?
We have been costuming longer than that of course. We did attend a few Sci-fi conventions in costume and have had to make costumes for certain productions and performances we have been in...so it's been a loooong time ^^

On Earth on the Continent of North America :)

How Tall Are Each Of You?
That depends on who we stand next to. Crystal is taller than Scuzzi and Yumi is taller than Crystal. We all fit neatly between 5'3" - 5'6"

What Events Do You Attend?
As we've said we do not report in advance (except for maybe a few short days) what cons and such we attend due to the fact that all of us unfortunately have had problems with wackos. The experiance can be very scary and turn otherwise fun events sour. You can read about past cons on our Events Page and we plan on attending more.

Who Takes The Pictures?
We all take turns! Unfortunately the camera we use needs to be updated.

How Long Have You Known Each Other?
We're like sisters...That's how long...

Who Sews?
In our profiles it says Yumi is the main seamstress and she makes most of the costumes (with help from Mom). She's been sewing since she was about eight! Scuzzi hand sews (she has something against sewing machines) so she gets the fun job of sewing on buttons, snaps, and the likes. That is when Yumi forces the issue. Crystal can pin and cut out patterns (as long as Yumi (yes, again) doesn't do something crazy with the piece as she normally does). They occassionally get together to have sew-a-thons (like the time Yumi and Crystal spent two weeks before X-mas almost every night until about 2am to make Scuzzi her Mei Lin Outfit! That's a lot of sleepovers!!!). Recently both Crystal and Scuzzi have decided they will be making their own costumes! More reports on this can be seen on the individual sites

What Is Pocky?
A delicious Japanese sweet. It's a crunchy biscuit stick dipped into various flavours. YUM!!!!

Why Does It Seem Like Yumi Does All The Work?
Because she does! J/K It may seem like she does, but she gets a lot of input from the other two.

What Are Your Plans For Your Next Costumes?
Normally we don't announce that either because we hate disappointing people (including ourselves) when we are unable to finish certain ones due to our busy schedules. But if you are interested in any updates we do now have a Live Journal where group plans are discussed

Can We/I Join ING?
ING was formed because of our shared interest and is not a group that will add members except to our Jpop Troupe. If you would like to get together for a Costume Competition or for a large group for pictures and such we would gladly find time in our schedules at the cons we attend. Meeting others is a lot of fun!

Who Is Mom?
Our loving Lady in Charge. She's who we get help from and argue with. In other words...our MOM
